Tisha B’Av (9th of Av)

Tisha B’Av, the ninth day of the Hebrew month of Av, is the saddest day on the Jewish calendar, commemorating the destruction of the First and Second Temples in Jerusalem and other tragedies in Jewish history. It is observed with fasting, mourning, and prayer.
